Tai Chi Intensive, London

14 January-14 April 2012 | Camden-Kentish Town, Saturdays 11 am- 6 pm.

Senior Energy Arts Tai Chi Instructor Paul Cavel—I will teach a core group of 16 people the 27-step Wu Style Tai Chi Short Form in four sessions over three months. Between classes, I will offer content (neigong) courses to infuse your form with internal power for health and high-performance.

Beginning, intermediate and advanced tracks of study will be offered in all classes, so everyone is welcome. Groups will be split depending on the individuals who attend, and their commensurate skill level.

Three Ways to Attend

  • All 8 Saturdays; or
  • 4 Formwork Saturdays; or
  • 4 Neigong Saturdays

4 Tai Chi Formwork Saturdays

6 hours/class (1-hour lunch, eat in or at Expressions cafe)—24 hours total.
Accepting 9 students minimum/16 students maximum; must attend all four classes in the series to choose this option.

4 February
Tai Chi Short Form: Physical Mechanics, Part 2

17 March
Tai Chi Short Form: Physical Mechanics, Part 3

31 March
Tai Chi Short Form: Physical Mechanics, Part 4

4 Internal Content Saturdays

5 hours/class (2-hour lunch)—20 hours total.
Accepting up to 24 students; you may attend one or more courses, as you like (discount for attending all four).

28 January
Standing Qigong & the Outer Dissolving Method
Fundamental Practices for Qigong, Tai Chi & Bagua

25 February
Bending & Stretching in Gods Qigong + Tai Chi
Choose the Gods Qigong or Tai Chi group.

24 March
Advanced Pulsing in Qigong, Tai Chi + Bagua
Taught through Tai Chi Circling Hands, then choose your form.

14 April
Longevity Breathing: Applications in Tai Chi + Bagua
